Food Truck Fridays
Something exciting is coming to Downtown North Wilkesboro! Food Truck Fridays are starting March 6th! The Downtown North Wilkesboro Partnership and the Town of North Wilkesboro are proud to collaborate on this new event, hosted by The Change Wagon and Wilkes Youth Life Development!
On the first Friday of every month, from 11am-6:30pm, the area around 219 9th Street will transform into a lively space filled with a rotating lineup of local food trucks and specialty vendors bringing everything from sweet treats to savory bites and refreshing drinks.
Mark your calendars now. The only exception is April, when we’ll gather on the second Friday instead.
Whether you’re looking for a fun Friday lunch break, an easy dinner plan, or a relaxed evening out with your family, Food Truck Fridays will be the perfect excuse to get outside, support local businesses, and explore beautiful Downtown North Wilkesboro!!

How to Participate
If you’re a food truck and interested in joining us, please complete the vendor interest form using the Google Form linked below. The form will collect basic information about your truck, menu, and availability.
Please note that submitting the form does not guarantee a spot at the event. Due to limited space and the goal of providing a variety of food options, vendors will be selected based on availability and event needs. You will receive email communication within 14 days of submitting the form to confirm or deny your participation for the selected date(s).
Once confirmed, our team will follow up with additional details including arrival times, setup instructions, and event logistics.
Food Truck Fridays is being coordinated in partnership with WYLD and its youth led social enterprise, The Change Wagon. WYLD works with youth across Wilkes County through leadership development, workforce experiences, and community based prevention efforts. The Change Wagon is a pay what you can food truck created and operated with local youth, focused on increasing access to healthy food and reducing food insecurity in our community.
