Benton Hall Center for the Arts at 300 D Street.  Once known as North Wilkesboro Elementary School and built in 1913, the center houses Wilkes Playmakers (a performing arts theater group). The Liberty Theatre on Main Street. A true downtown landmark, built in 1946 this traditional movie house shows new releases at prices that won’t break the bank. During the Summer kids watch free at 10am Tuesday-Thursday.
