Historic Downtown North Wilkesboro is coordinating a remembrance walk on Wednesday, November 11th for Veteran’s Day. The walk will begin at Melody Square on 6th Street at 10am. Participants will be given American flags and the group will begin walking down Main Street turning up 9th street and continue on to Memorial Avenue (Corner of 9th and D). After the walk, participants will take part in the Veteran’s Day celebration planned by VFW at Memorial Avenue.
