The 4th Annual Shine to Wine Festival is scheduled for Saturday, May 3, 2008, from 12:00
pm to 6:00 pm in Downtown North Wilkesboro. We will have live entertainment, art, merchandise,
wine, and food.
Along with showcasing North Wilkesboro, Wilkes County and the burgeoning wine
industry in our area, this year’s event will feature a unique Culinary Chef Challenge, where regional
chefs representing surrounding restaurants will compete for the title of Best Chef, as well as other
prizes to be determined. These chefs will display their cooking and presentation talents for a jury of
judges and critics.
The celebration will begin at 12pm, and continue until 6pm. General admission is FREE, and wine
tastings are only $20!
